Rock Island, IL (July 29^th, 2010)—CampaignPros.com is proud to be the official merchandise supplier for the annual Rock Island Grand Prix street race.  This annual independent kart racing event, billed as the largest in the country, is being help this September 4^th and 5^th.

The event plays host to racers from all over the United States and Canada, as well as attracting drivers from South and Central America, Bermuda and Europe.  With a minimum purse of $25,000 to the winner, it stands to reason that drivers would want a piece of the action.

The course winds through the streets in Rock Island’s historic “District.”  The District is lined with retail shops, bars, restaurants and comedy clubs.  Spectators line the streets to experience the thrill of karts speeding past.

As noted on the RIGP website, “As a fan of racing, it is high speed racing a mere 10 feet away from your toes. And for families, it’s an array of activities, food, and spectacles.”

CampaignPros.com, a local Rock Island business that supplies promotional products on a national level, is getting involved for the second straight year.  “We love getting involved locally.  This event is great for Rock Island.  My five-year old has a great time watching these karts fly around the course,” shared CampaignPros.com Co-Owner, Mike Mathews.

“Everyone around here knows us for our political yard signs.  For this event, we will be supplying all the t-shirts, banners, can holders and decals.  The event will supply the fun and we’ll take care of the merchandise. We are glad we can be a part of this great event,” added CampaignPros Co-Owner, Wade Baffa.

There are 15 race classes with entry fees ranging from $75.00 to $160.00.  Registration closes on Friday, August 13^th.  Registration can be done through the RIGP website or by printing out a mail-in form.
