Parades are famous for floats, bands, children and of course, candy!  When running your campaign, you will no doubt take part in one or more parades.  While doing so, you may be tempted to go out and buy a thousand pieces of candy with your logo or name on them, a clear cello wrapper that reads, “Vote Sally Smith.”

I say, resist that temptation.  A dozen candidates, with 1000 pieces of candy each, equals 12,000 clear cello wrappers in the trash can.  Here is what I propose…buy die-cut handle bags.

Now, all the families are running around snatching up Sally’s candy, John’s candy, etc., and placing that candy in YOUR bags.  You get a 3″x3″ imprint area, while they are reduced to a 1″ diameter that ends up in the garbage can.

It’s a simple trick.
